National Nature Reserve - Oak Ridge Moraine

Experience the purity of ICY BLUE Natural Artesian Spring Water, sourced deep beneath the protected Oak Ridge Moraine. This unique geological formation was formed over 20,000 years ago during the last ice age, when two glacier lobes merged, leaving a layer of frozen gravel and sand that was slowly deposited over time. Today, the Oak Ridge Moraine is one of eastern Canada's only national nature reserves, and the perfect source for ICY BLUE's pure, refreshing water.

Discover Our Natural Filtration Process: Unveiling the Essence of Purity

OAK RIDGES MORAINE

Deep below the forest, ancient glacial deposits have created a series of aquifers containing a virtually unlimited supply of natural water. The aquifer forms an enormous natural filteration system. As water passes through the aquifer, impurities are removed while natural minerals are absorbed.

Oak ridges moraine

About 13,000 years ago, the Laurentide Ice Sheet melted. Two glacial ice lobes, Simcoe and Ontario, both in Canada, came close to meeting, pushing up massive deposits of stones, sand clay, and gravel between them.

When the ice retreated, this formed a lake basin into which gravel and sand were deposited from ice-bound tunnels. The glacial deposits remained, forming the Oak Ridges Moraine.
